Welcome to The Red Barn a family run public house with a vision to be the most welcoming hostelry in Shrewsbury and after three years since taking ownership we are beginning to realise our dream. Through hard work and dedication from all the team to make the Red Barn the perfect environment, for all our customers, we have seen consistent growth even in these harder times.

The appeal to many of our returning customers is the quality of food we serve with an ever changing specials board offering real value for money, throughout the seasons. In today’s society customers are certainly wiser and appreciate the effort undertaken to offer real homemade food that may on occasions take a little longer to prepare, which is locally sourced supporting other local businesses in Shropshire.

Normally the concept of freshly prepared food comes at a premium price, as the ingredients can be more expensive, however with the continued growth of the business and the relationship we have maintained with our suppliers, we compare favourably with other public houses in Shrewsbury, the difference being our food is freshly made and cooked on the premises.

The Red Barn is very fortunate to have a loyal and supporting community, who have embraced our family since our arrival three years ago into the community, who enjoy socialising and help with the many local charitable fundraising events which are held throughout the year at the Red Barn.
